Payout Process Details
The bank payouts from Tangem Pay went live on Oct. 13, 2026. A post from Tangem on X described the update. Users select the amount and recipient details through the app. They then review the transfer before completing it. Each payout requires a tap on the Tangem hardware card for confirmation. This step applies to every transaction processed through the service.
Networks and Transfer Options
The feature works with USDC on Polygon, Base and Arbitrum. Users choose between ACH or FedWire rails for each payout. The choice appears during the withdrawal setup in the app. Recipients can be the user’s own account, another individual’s account or a business account. The receiving bank must be located in the United States. The recipient address itself can be anywhere in the world.
Access and Verification Rules
Availability of the option depends on the country where the Tangem Pay account was verified. The feature appears in the app only in supported regions. Users open the Withdraw section, select bank transfer and enter the required information. The process follows steps outlined in the Tangem help center. No additional verification steps beyond account setup are described for eligible users.
Wallet Integration Points
Users retain the ability to move USDC or USDT from Tangem Pay back to their Tangem Wallet. The Tangem Wallet remains non-custodial at all times. Tangem Pay operates as a separate payment account within the same app interface. This separation keeps the core wallet functions distinct from the payment service.
Product Scope for Holders
Holders access the bank transfer path directly from balances already in Tangem Pay. The update focuses on routing existing USDC to standard US banking rails. The service stays within the Tangem app environment. Holders see the option where their verification region permits it. The hardware card tap serves as the final approval step for any selected transfer.
The announcement and help center materials provide the operational details for the payout path. Tangem Pay functions alongside the existing non-custodial wallet without altering its structure. Recipients receive the funds through the chosen rail once the tap confirmation completes the request.
