Hand-made binder pages built for the community card game won a fiery cheer from Bark on Tuesday evening, Oct. 27, 2026, as a community artist shared sneak peeks of work in progress.
Put simply, on top of that, bark replied to the sneak peek with a string of fire emojis. Overall, as a detail, the reply tagged both the card game and Doginal Dogs.
Background
On top of that, a Wizard page collected the class’s spells. Furthermore, as a detail, wizard, Bows, Zombies and Crowns are classes in the game.
Equally, on top of that, the spreads are made for Doginal Dogs Legends, the community card game. As noted, as a detail, the maker works class by class.
In short, on top of that, full-art cards show artwork across the whole card face. Importantly, as a detail, the panels carry that art past the card’s edges.
On top of that, on a revisited page, the panel was remade using acrylic paint pens and matte varnish. Of note, as a detail, holo foil lamination came last.
Likewise, on top of that, painted clouds and the light rays of Helios fill that panel. Still, as a detail, the Chico card staircase winds through the setting.
Why it matters
Even so, on top of that, fan art like this makes the card game personal. At the same time, as a detail, a binder of painted spreads becomes a showcase.
Put simply, on top of that, the cheer from Bark supported creative effort by community members. The spreads honor art that supporters already love.
Sharing unfinished work let supporters watch a page take shape. Overall, as a detail, it welcomed the community into the craft.
Furthermore, on top of that, sturdier paper and double-sided prints were tried on other spreads. Equally, as a detail, in the maker’s view, printing on both sides gives a more finished look.
As noted, on top of that, pumpy, Thumpy and Digger, all Zombie creatures, took over one page. In short, as a detail, a different page looked out on a land of the dead ruled by Zombies.
On top of that, in the previews, the maker was seen sketching the final connecting links over the page. Importantly, as a detail, joined together, those links let the whole spread feel like a single piece.
Of note, on top of that, posting the page while work was still under way was deliberate. As a detail, it gave supporters a view into how the design came together.
On top of that, boogie anchored a latest full-art page. Likewise, as a detail, the panels pulled that art outward into the maker’s own version of Boogie’s domain.
Still, on top of that, for a personal binder, the maker paints small panels by hand as well. Even so, as a detail, the binder serves as the maker’s prototype.
How it works
On top of that, custom panels surround the cards on every page. At the same time, as a detail, they carry a card’s artwork outward and turn it into a bigger setting.
Put simply, on top of that, an earlier page starred Mento, with his magic running across the layout. Overall, as a detail, as a tough taunt card, Mento lets its owner draw a card when he is destroyed.
On top of that, according to the maker, the latest spreads went together without trouble. Furthermore, as a detail, the workflow has become steady and dependable.
Equally, on top of that, reaper appeared in full art on a concept page. As noted, as a detail, the maker described the layout as one that could suit any card.
In short, on top of that, among all the cards, Reaper is the maker’s favorite. As a detail, one latest page set it beside Fitch and Shepherd.
Importantly, on top of that, hand-drawn touch-ups appear on certain spreads. Of note, as a detail, the maker puts them in spots where the printed art calls for more detail.
